We are offering well-established juveniles that are currently eating well on small crickets and mealworms. These youngsters have been carefully raised and are thriving in our care. As one of the more sensitive species in the genus, we ensure our juveniles are fully established before they are made available to ensure they have the best possible start in their new homes.

The Spearpoint leaf-tail gecko, or Uroplatus ebenaui, is the smallest known species in the Uroplatus genus, typically reaching an adult length of only 3 to 4 inches. They are famous for their incredible camouflage, mimicking dead leaves with nearly perfect accuracy. This species is native to the dry deciduous forests of Madagascar, making them slightly more tolerant of lower humidity and warmer temperatures than some of their rainforest-dwelling relatives, like the Satanic leaf-tail gecko. They are a nocturnal species, spending their nights hunting small invertebrates and their days sleeping flattened against branches or nestled among dry foliage.

Because of their small size, they do well in smaller, vertically oriented terrariums, though they will utilize all the space provided to them at night. They are best kept as display animals in a naturalistic or bioactive setup where their cryptic behavior and stunning appearance can be fully appreciated. Despite their small stature, they have big personalities and are a favorite for keepers who enjoy the unique and specialized "leaf-mimic" geckos of Madagascar.
